HOW DOES IT WORK?
Botulinum toxin temporarily blocks the nerve impulses to the muscles, preventing them from contracting. As a result, the skin in this area is not creased repeatedly. This lack of contraction softens existing lines and wrinkles as well as preventing further lines and wrinkles from forming.
WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED?
Forehead lines, frown lines, crow’s feet, neck, around the mouth, gummy smile, jaw (for teeth grinding or jaw slimming) and underarms and palms for sweating.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Results usually last for to 3-6 months after treatment.

HOW DO THEY WORK?
Lip fillers are injections of hyaluronic acid (HA) that are placed into the lips. The injections of filler are strategically placed to enhance the volume and definition of the lips, creating a perfect pout.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the skin and has a natural affinity with skin tissue. Following treatment, the hyaluronic acid breaks down naturally over time. Lip filler treatments are also reversible.
The results are tailored to suit the client, using volumes of product appropriate to creating the desired look.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Results tend last up to around 6 months after treatment.
DOES IT HURT?
We use prescription-strength numbing cream during the procedure to make the treatment as comfortable as possible. The brands of filler we use also contain lidocaine, which helps reduce the discomfort.
WILL I SWELL / BRUISE?
Almost every client who chooses to have lip fillers will experience some degree of swelling. We cannot predict this but rest assured that any swelling is temporary. Bruising is a risk with lip treatments, as there is a vast network of blood vessels within the lips that we cannot see with the naked eye. These sometimes suffer minor damage during the injection process, leading to bruising. This can be minimised with ice and arnica.
By injecting a product containing Sodium Deoxycholate, we are able to eliminate fat cells, and remove stubborn areas of fat permanently.
Treatment Summary:
Procedure Time: 20-30 minutes.
Downtime: None in the body, but due to swelling, face and neck treatment do have downtime of up to a week.
Pain: Very mild during procedure, but can ne sore for 24 hours following treatment.
Anaesthetic: Lidocaine is injected into the area prior to treatment to make the procedure more comfortable. We also add some lidocaine to the product we inject.
Side Effects: Swelling, bruising, heat and itching in the treated area are common. These usually subside within 48 hours in the body, but can take a little longer in the neck and face.
Recovery Time: Up to 7 days.
Results: Gradual. A course of 3-4 treatments is recommended for best results. These can be done 6 weeks apart.
Duration of Results: The result is permanent, but lifestyle can of course cause further appearance of stubborn fat.
